Max George supports heartbroken girlfriend Maisie Smith and her family after upsetting loss

Max George has shared messages of support to his girlfriend Maisie Smith and her family as they confirmed they'd suffered an upsetting loss. Former EastEnders star Maisie took to social media to confirm the death of their pet pooch, Betty.

The actress shared a string of sweet pictures of her beloved dog and wrote in view of her fans and followers on Instagram: "Betty Smith, my beautiful girl. How can I squeeze 18 wonderful years into 10 photos?! You did so well baby girl, now you can be with your brother again xxx."

Singer Max was quick to respond to the post, writing: "What a gorgeous girl. She was one of a kind. I’m sure she’s bouncing about with Benny already. Loved her, love you my darling," before Maisie's celebrity pals also shared messages of love and support.
