Good Morning Britain sparks fury as fans make demand after 'irresponsible' decision
Good Morning Britain viewers have been left less than impressed with the ITV show. On Friday morning, Adil Ray and Kate Garraway informed people there is a rare red weather warning in place in certain areas across the UK.
As Storm Eowyn hits, the ITV host highlighted the warning, which means a possible warning of danger to life. Speaking about the storm, four reporters were sent on location to give live updates.
However, with the warning in place, viewers were furious the show decided to send reporters out in the alarming weather. Taking to Twitter, one person reeled: "How irresponsible! You do not need to be outside to show us how bad the weather is GET INSIDE."
Another reeled: "What poor reporters have to stand out in the wind and rain to verify @Lauratobin1 ‘s forecast while she presents from a nice warm studio? #gmb."
Someone else sarcastically added: "Don’t go outside, there’s a danger to life’…..unless you’re a reporter in which case GMB will make you stand outside." One viewer commented: "Get those reporters inside. We are not stupid, we can see how windy it is without putting your reporters in danger."
Agreeing, another wrote: "Danger to life warning and #gmb throw numerous reporters out into #StormÉowyn to get the best shots, where is the f*****g logic in that? unbelievable."
Baffled, one viewer tweeted: "This storm is a threat to life. So let's send a reporter to stand 10 yards away from the sea. I'll never understand that."
