Gemma Atkinson pokes fun at herself after new-mum blunder as she shares sweet meaning behind son's name

Gemma Atkinson has given fans an honest glimpse into her life as a new mum-of-two after giving birth to her baby boy earlier this week. The Hits Radio presenter has welcomed her second child into the world with partner and pro Strictly dancer Gorka Marquez, just over four years after their daughter Mia was born in July 2019.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (July 19), the couple shared a joint message announcing the safe arrival of their son to their millions of followers saying 'little man is here'. Bury-born Gemma, 38, and Gorka, 32, who met on the BBC dance contest back in 2017, said their family is 'now complete'.

Just days after giving birth, the former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress then announced her baby boy's name along with an adorable first photo. Sharing the gorgeous first snap of him in a joint post to their followers yesterday (July 22), Gemma and Gorka wrote: "Thiago Thomas Marquez. Our family is complete."

Fans and friends of the Strictly stars quickly took to the comments to congratulate the pair. One fan wrote: "Congratulations. all that hair! Beautiful little boy xx," as another said: "Oh he’s gorgeous. Such a beautiful name too x."
