New mum Janette Manrara begged 'please' as sends 'last and final' message days after welcoming first child

Janette Manrara has left fans begging 'please' as she sent a 'last and final' message to fans days after welcoming her first child into the world. The former Strictly Come Dancing dancer is currently basking in her baby bubble after the birth of her daughter with her husband Aljaz Skorjanec.

Jannette, 39, and Aljaz, 33, welcomed little Lyra Rose Skorjanec into the world on July 28 before announcing the news a day later. The couple confirmed their daughter's arrival at the end of last month in a social media post which was shared on both of their Instagram pages.

Sharing an adorable snap, the black and white photo showed Janette cradling the newborn in her hospital bed while Aljaz leaned over them while beaming for the camera. They kept their message simple, confirming Lyra's name and birth date after keeping the gender of their first child a surprise. Her arrival also comes after Janette discovered she was pregnant before starting planned IVF treatment.

But before Lyra's arrival, Janette and her fellow former Strictly star Aljaz were keeping busy whilst also planning for their bundle of joy. The pair delivered the second series of their own podcast, Twist and Shout, which they originally launched in 2021, in which the pair kept their fans updated on their lives, chatting about their move up north and preparing for the arrival of Lyra.

However, all good things must come to an end and Janette has revealed that, for now, there won't be any more episodes. Taking to Instagram she said: "The last and final episode of our podcast @twistandshoutpodcast is out today. We had such a blast doing it.
