Gemma Atkinson defended by fans over video of Mia after 'just my opinion' remark

Fans of Gemma Atkinson quickly defended the star as she shared a video of how her daughter decided to spend some of her weekend. Little Mia Marquez is still fresh in being promoted to big sister following the birth of her baby brother, Thiago, last month.

Gemma and her Strictly Come Dancing star beau Gorka Marquez welcomed their second child into the world on July 17 after they announced back in January that they were expanding their brood following the birth of their first child in July 2019.

Bury-born Gemma, 38, and Spanish dancer Gorka, 32, kept their fans and followers updated during the pregnancy and after their 'little man' made a safe arrival into the world mid-last month, his proud parents shared the news days later. And Gemma has since been giving her fans and followers updates on their new life as a family of four.

And over the weekend, both the new mum-of-two and Mia, four, were happy to have Gorka home as he's forced to spend the weekdays away in London where Strictly rehearsals are taking place ahead of the new series, due to return to screens this autumn.

But there wasn't time to rest as little Mia was inspired by the CrossFit games as her parents cheered on their pal and decided to head into the family's home gym to set out her own fitness course. In a video posted to Gemma's Instagram, the toddler could be seen dressed in her princesses attire as she worked up a sweat.

Alongside her 'Papa' Gorka in the gym, Mia could be seen trying to climb over a box, jumping over obstacles and even getting stuck into some of the machines her parents have in their own workout space.
