Gary Neville calls out Marcus Rashford and Casemiro and questions their professionalism

Gary Neville has questioned Manchester United stars Marcus Rashford and Casemiro taking long-distance holidays during the international break.

Rashford was spotted at an NBA game as the New York Knicks took on the Brooklyn Nets in New York City. Meanwhile, Casemiro took his family to Orlando and shared photos from Disney World on his Instagram. Both players were free to do as they wished, having not been selected by their countries, but former United captain Neville had concerns about their choice of destination.

The pundit clarified that he had no issues with the attention Rashford received in New York but expressed concern about the potential impact of jet lag on the players. United are looking ahead to Ruben Amorim's first game in charge, and Neville is worried that clocking up air miles wasn't the best preparation for two of the club's key players.

"It comes with the territory when you're this sort of player and stature," Neville shared on the It's Called Soccer podcast. "I've got very little sympathy for players who are the stars who are on huge money, huge commercial contracts, they want that attention, they need it as that's what fuels them and makes them the great players what they are and that's what gives them that adrenaline rush, they're going to get more attention, so I've got no problem with that and the attention he gets.
