Liverpool have been gearing up for the visit of Championship side Cardiff City ahead of Sunday's FA Cup fourth round tie at Anfield.

In action for the first time in a fortnight, Jurgen Klopp's side have welcomed back a selection of key individuals to training.

The Reds will have hopes of progressing to the next round of this weekend's prestigious competition, which they last won a decade ago when taking on Sunday's opponents at Wembley.

Below are four things we spotted as the Liverpool players were put through their paces at the AXA Training Centre earlier today.

Much of the talk in recent days has centred around the Reds' January recruit, Luis Diaz.

Back from international duty with Colombia, the 25-year-old has been filmed embracing Klopp at the club's training ground and completed an individual workout separate from the rest of the squad.

Fellow South American duo of Alisson Becker and Fabinho, meanwhile, were not present and may have been handed extra time off having only recently returned to England after participating in World Cup
