Former manager makes bold Altay Bayindir prediction as Manchester United transfer close

A former coach of Manchester United target Altay Bayindir believes the goalkeeper will 'make a name for himself' if he gets the chance.

"I gave him the first captaincy in Ankaragucu," Kaplan told Turkish outlet Calendar. "He took an important step in his career by transferring to Fenerbahce.

"I think if he takes the chance he gets, he’ll rock. Altay is an ambitious goalkeeper with big goals. He is opening a new chapter in his career.

The transfer window is in full swing and United have got their hands on three players well in advance of the September 1 deadline, with Rasmus Hojlund joining Mason Mount and Andre Onana at Old Trafford.
