Manchester United transfer news LIVE deadline day reaction as Amrabat signs and Greenwood leaves

Manchester United landed four deadline day signings on Friday as Erik ten Hag completed his summer business.

The club managed to get a loan deal for Sofyan Amrabat over the line and have the option to make his move permanent for €20million plus €5m in add-ons. Ten Hag managed the midfielder at FC Utrecht between 2015 and 2017.

Meanwhile, United's search for an emergency left-back ended with a Sergio Reguilon loan switch from Tottenham. The signing of new No.2 goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was also finalised, making him the first Turkish player to play for United.

Jonny Evans also penned a one-year deal after being taken on pre-season tour by United. The experienced defender, who left Old Trafford in 2015, had returned to Carrington to build up fitness following his release from Leicester but Ten Hag has decided to add him to his squad. He is yet to play a competitive game for United this season but that could be set to change now he has penned a new deal.

United had been scouring the market for left-backs after Luke Shaw picked up a muscle injury in training last week that will keep him sidelined for two months, with Tyrell Malacia still absent having not yet trained this summer.
