Foreign Office expands UK 'do not travel' list - full list of 31 countries
The countries on the UK's 'no travel' list have been revealed - with 29 put on red alert by the Foreign Office.
The Foreign Office is advising against all travel to large parts of Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as other countries in the Middle East, in Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia, Birmingham Live reports. The reasons for the 'do not travel' warnings are anything from safety and security risk fears to wars and conflicts.
There are the threat of terrorism and terror attacks in some locations, while in others, extreme weather poses a risk - from wildfires and tornadoes to tsunamis. Travelling against Foreign Office advice means any normal travel insurance will be immediately invalidated.
