Football Manager 2023: What are the new Headline Features?

Football Manager 2023 is one of the most anticipated games of the year.

The Sports Interactive simulation behemoth is one of the deepest, most detailed football games of all time, and continually brings new features into the game with each iteration.

FM22 sold over one million copies and SI will be hoping to see the same kind of results with FM23, which will release on multiple platforms on November 8th, 2022.

It will come out on PC, as well as PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch, although the PC version of the game is perhaps the most detailed you can find.

Over the weekend, SI revealed a variety of their headline features, and we’ll get into it below!

There are new features constantly added to the game with each year and FM23 is going to be no different.

SI released a video on YouTube over the weekend, revealing the features they will be hanging their hats on for FM23.

Let’s see exactly what they are!

This is going to be interesting this year.

SI has confirmed that there will be a massive revamp of the recruitment process in the game.

You’ll have access to a squad planner and experience matrix, which will allow you to assess your squad properly and plan for the future.

Your staff will rank the players you have but you can edit these rankings, and even add in potential transfer targets to see how you can improve, or potentially tweak your formation.

You’ll also get a look, in the Matrix, at different categories of players, including “Developing”, “Emerging”, “Peak”, and “Experienced” talent.
