Fabio Silva fires back at Rangers trolls as Wolves loanee declares he has NO regrets over Ibrox transfer

Defiant Fabio Silva admits he felt the "impact" of negative comments during the final weeks of his Rangers career.

The Wolves loanee failed to make a significant impact during his time in the Scottish Premiership after signing a loan agreement deal from the English Premier League six in January. Despite excitement from fans over his arrival - having boasted a £35million price tag when he moved from FC Porto to Molineux - he failed to live up to the hype netting just six goals in 25 appearances.

The 21-year-old was deployed on the left-wing by Philippe Clement as Rangers saw their bid to become Scottish Premiership champions fall apart before signing off his time in Govan with Scottish Cup Final defeat to Celtic. However, Silva's most controversial moment in a Rangers' top came after scoring against Kilmarnock.

Following the strike, he turned to show his name on the back of his shirt while raising the shoulders towards the crowd - before appearing to shush the home support. Having previously stated that it was his call not to make a return to Ibrox in favour of attempting to find a club in La Liga, Silva was quizzed on if he would change anything about his spell north of the border by Sport Bible.

He responded: “I don't have regrets in life. Everything happens for a reason. I enjoyed playing at Rangers. I feel more complete after playing in a few different positions. I wouldn’t change anything. It's a new country with new teammates. Rangers are a big team. I liked it."

He was then pressed on negative comments he received on social media from Rangers fans, he said: “I've felt the impact of that in the last month-and-a-half. When I post something, or the club posts something about me on social media, the people really
