Exciting: Journalist now hints Wolves could seal big deal

According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Wolves could sign Valencia forward Goncalo Guedes thanks to behind-the-scenes ‘connections’ at the football club.

It has been reported that the Midlands team have prioritised a new centre-forward in the upcoming summer transfer window and Guedes is one option they will look to bring in to rival current starting man Raul Jimenez.

The boost comes from the Valencia man’s agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents current Wolves players Jose Sa, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Nelson Semedo, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence, and Francisco Trincao. He stated to GiveMeSport: “Obviously, the good connections might help facilitate this deal.

“With the player being Portuguese and the Jorge Mendes link, Bruno Lage will know all about Guedes from having seen him on several occasions and the Portuguese connections.”
