"Everybody in that dressing room" - Insider reveals exciting behind-scenes change at Leeds

Leeds manager Jesse Marsch has quickly won over the players at Elland Road, according to insider Dean Jones.

Marsch replaced Marcelo Bielsa at the Premier League club at the end of February, and has made a largely positive start to his tenure.

Marsch has taken charge of five games at Leeds so far, and he endured a difficult start at the helm as his side lost their opening two matches.

The team’s 3-0 defeat against Aston Villa was a particularly concerning result, with the defence all over the place in the second half.

However, Leeds have got back on track since then, winning back-to-back games against Norwich and Wolves, before picking up a point at home to Southampton on Saturday.

Marsch is only the second American manager to coach in the Premier League, and he has admitted that some people may have doubts about him, particularly after the hit TV show Ted Lasso.

However, Jones has claimed that Marsch has proven to be a popular figure with the Leeds squad, who appreciate the positivity that he has brought to the club.

Talking about Marsch’s impact at Leeds, Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “Everybody in that dressing room loves the vibe. They love the turnaround he’s been able to produce in terms of morale and personality.”

Taking over from Bielsa was never going to be an easy task for Marsch. The Argentine was a huge hit with the Leeds fans as he led the club back to the Premier League playing an extremely entertaining brand of football.

Many supporters were left devastated by Bielsa’s departure, and he is likely to go down as one of the finest managers in the club’s modern history.
