"Very exciting" - Journalist shares intriguing Leeds United claim on Jesse Marsch

Leeds United could be in for a “very exciting time” under Jesse Marsch, claims journalist Dean Jones.

The American replaced Marcelo Bielsa as Whites manager at the end of February, and Jones believes he has better ideas than his predecessor in this moment of time.

It is, of course, early days, but the Elland Road faithful will be happy with what they have seen under Marsch so far.

Things started off badly for the former RB Leipzig boss after he lost both of his first two games in charge.

However, the Yorkshire club have recovered extremely well since then, going on to pick up wins against Norwich City, Wolves and Watford.

It has eased relegation fears and probably justified Leeds’ decision to get rid of Bielsa and replace him with the man now sitting in the Elland Road dugout.

Jones has suggested that Leeds needed something fresh and believes Marsch’s presence should have supporters excited.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the insider said: “Now you’re starting to see that there’s life after Bielsa. Jesse Marsch is great, and he’s got ideas above and beyond maybe what Bielsa could do in this moment for Leeds United.

“So I think it should be seen as a very exciting time, particularly with some of the links that are starting to crop up.”

The initial signs suggest that Marsch is capable of guiding Leeds to positive results. With a fully fit squad, he should be able to at least keep them away from the relegation zone next term.

The ex-Red Bull Salzburg boss started his Leeds tenure without a fully fit Patrick Bamford and Kalvin Phillips, who are probably the Whites’ two best players after Raphinha.
