Everton discover FFP fate before Manchester United clash after Premier League charges
Manchester United's next opponents Everton have been found guilty of Financial Fair Play (FFP) breaches, which have led to a 10-point deduction for the Premier League mainstays.
After the international break, United are due to continue their Premier League campaign against Everton at their iconic Goodison Park Stadium on Sunday, November 26 (4.30pm). However, there is some uncertainty around the Toffees after they were formally reprimanded amid financial concerns.
Everton are the first Premier League outfit to be found guilty on such charges. Both the club and governing body have released statements on the news.

A statement published by the Premier League read: "An independent commission has imposed an immediate deduction of 10 points on Everton FC for a breach of the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSRs). It concluded that a sporting sanction in the form of a 10-point deduction should be imposed."

Part of a reply from Everton read: "Everton Football Club is both shocked and disappointed by the ruling of the Premier League's commission. The club believes that the commission has imposed a wholly disproportionate - and unjust - sporting sanction.
"The club has already communicated its intention to appeal the decision to the Premier League."
