Alejandro Garnacho imitates two Cristiano Ronaldo celebrations after Manchester United wonder goal vs Everton

Alejandro Garnacho pulled out two iconic Cristiano Ronaldo celebrations at Goodison Park after scoring a wonderful overhead kick against Everton.

Garnacho silenced a fervent home support, watching Diogo Dalot's cross float over to the back post before unleashing an incredible bicycle kick. From all of 10 yards out, the Manchester United winger's effort flew past Jordan Pickford and into the top corner.

And after netting what may well be the best goal of his career, Garnacho imitated Ronaldo's famous 'Siu' celebration. He was quickly mobbed by his United teammates with many in disbelief.

After emerging from the chaos, Garnacho then performed another Ronaldo classic, pointing to the turf and copying the Portuguese legend's 'I am here' celebration.

It was an effort reminiscent of one of Ronaldo's greatest-ever goals, an equally acrobatic bicycle kick during Real Madrid's 3-0 win over Juventus in the 2017/2018 Champions League quarter-final. Former United captain Gary Neville was on commentary duty for Sky Sports and insisted the 19-year-old's effort was the best he'd ever seen.

"Can’t believe it Garnacho!" he exclaimed. "I don’t think I’ve ever been in a stadium where I've seen an overhead kick as good as that. And I was there for Rooney’s! Wow! That is a magical, magical goal! That is one of the best you’ll see."

Garnacho has made no secret of his admiration for Ronaldo, admitting he thought he was dreaming after the pair played together against Sheriff Tiraspol in 2022. The teenager also sent a touching message to his idol when he left United to join Saudi
