Erik ten Hag seeks meeting with Glazers as Andre Onana trains with Manchester United teammates

Here are your Saturday morning Manchester United headlines.

Ten Hag meeting

Erik ten Hag says Manchester United's pre-season tour of the United States is a "good opportunity" to meet members of the Glazer family.

The club's owners have not made a decision on the strategic review that was announced eight months ago, despite offers submitted by the Ineos Group and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

The ownership situation at United is likely to drag on into the season as the six Glazer siblings who sit on the United board are unable to settle on a resolution.

Onana trains

Andre Onana has participated in his first Manchester United training session since his £47.7m arrival from Inter.

The goalkeeper was seen in good spirits as he took part in several drills in the New York sunshine. Onana flew to the US to join his new teammates after penning a five-year contract this week.

The 27-year-old, who will wear the number 24, will become Erik ten Hag’s first-choice shot-stopper after the exit of David de Gea. The Reds boss explained why he signed the Cameroonian on Friday.
