The 'unmissable' beach a £30 flight away from Manchester Airport

This Balearic island is also home to some incredible beaches and on the southern coast is a tiny bay which has not one but two scenic coves, both receiving rave reviews on TripAdvisor. Cala Macarella is the larger of the two with pristine white sand nestled between cliffs topped with pine trees.

Its turquoise waters are crystal-clear and you’d struggle to resist going for a swim or a snorkel. Or simply lay out a towel on the sand and enjoy the breathtaking views.

There’s toilet facilities and a cafe at the beach, so you can easily spend the whole day there. One visitor described the beach as ‘unmissable’ on Tripadvisor. They wrote: “Absolutely unmissable…the stunning shades of clear turquoise and blue waters, sandy beaches and surrounding rocks will amaze you.”
