Erik ten Hag must answer vital Manchester United questions vs Brentford

Erik ten Hag has some thinking to do to bounce back from a disappointing midweek defeat ahead of Manchester United's Premier League clash against Brentford.

Having seemingly replaced world-renowned shot-stopper David De Gea with a more technical ball player in Onana, it is ironic that the Cameroonian has made back-to-back errors that cover both those areas of the goalkeeping spectrum.

Anyone who watched Inter Milan's European run last season knows there is a quality goalkeeper in Onana - as they say, form is temporary and class is permanent. It would be a surprise to see Ten Hag lose his faith in one of his marquee summer signings ahead of the Brentford game, although the option of Altay Bayindir will be waiting in the ranks for his first opportunity.
