First look inside Sexy Fish... the glamorous restaurant with Damien Hirst artworks, giant sea sculptures and its own mini waterfall

It's been a long time coming, but Sexy Fish, the upscale London restaurant known for its A-list clientele has finally unveiled a first glimpse of its jaw-dropping interiors at its soon-to-launch Manchester site.

It was back in 2021 that Caprice Holdings, the company behind the Ivy Group, confirmed they would be taking over the former Armani store in Spinningfields, and now, almost exactly two years later, visitors have been given a sneak peak of its showstopping interiors.

While it doesn't officially open to the public until Thursday, October 12, the spot, next to John Rylands Library, opened its doors for an exclusive VIP party on Thursday night (October 5), pulling out all the stops with dancers, a champagne reception and performances from DJs Paax Tulum and Jean Claude.

Ahead of opening, the glitzy restaurant chain teased ultra-luxurious design elements - from Damien Hirst artworks and giant sea sculptures to a mini waterfall and iconic fish lamps. And, on finally viewing the space this evening, it certainly lived up to expectations.

Hirst's three giant sculptures inspired from creatures under the sea define the space, while the incorporation of designer and architect Frank Gehry's beautiful fish lamps, is truly impressive. Elsewhere, a stunning Verde Esmerelda stone floor is particularly eye-catching, and is complemented by a series of glass columns created by master Venetian glassmakers on the island of Murano.
