Erik ten Hag has been reminded of Manchester United transfer priority vs Leeds and Lyon

Manchester United made it two wins from two against Lyon on Wednesday but will once again have felt short-changed by the 1-0 scoreline.

But despite being able to work the openings well, none of the front three had the killer instinct to find the net and were often laboured in their final product.

It was impossible not to look at that opening half of football and think what a world-class goalscorer could do in this United squad. Ten Hag might have been minded to get on the phone to John Murtough mid-game and demand a No.9 be ready at Edinburgh airport by full-time.
