Emmerdale fans work out who really sent naked Mary snap and point out why it can't be Faye

Emmerdale fans think they have figured out who really set the naked image of Mary Goskirk to all of her phone contacts as they pointed out why it couldn't be her blackmailer Faye Helders during the ITV soap's latest scenes.

Mary was being threatened over the intimate image by her former lover in a bid to get her to retract her statement to the police about her fraud. After meeting Mary on a dating app and striking up a relationship, Faye lied about the Ecuadorian women's refuge she was supposedly helping with her work, convincing Mary to part with money.

But when Mary eventually confronted her before planning to leave with her to get to Ecuador, despite the whole thing being a sham, Faye showed no remorse and Mary tried to claw back the wad of cash left for her by Suzy Merton following the sham fundraiser.

In the tussle, Mary was knocked to the floor and was left bleeding from banging her head on the coffee table before being found by her daughter Rhoan's ex-husband, Gus. Since then Mary has been trying to forget about what happened with Faye until she returned to the village with an ultimatum.

Faye tried to convince Mary she was remorseful before showing her true colours, telling her she must withdraw her statement from the police or have the naked picture of herself sent to everyone she has saved as a contact in her phone.

During Wednesday night's trip to the Dales (July 19), viewers saw a gleeful Mary celebrating after she changed her mind about giving Faye what she wanted.
