England win Euro 2022: Jill Scott calling German player a ‘p**ck’ has gone viral

Jill Scott is one of England’s most capped players ever and among the most loved as well.

The 35-year-old has earned more than 160 caps for the Lionesses and it was fitting that the midfielder was on the pitch as the final whistle sounded at Wembley last night.

As always, Scott played with intensity, aggression and passion –– which led to a few choice words on one occasion.

Indeed, a clip of the Manchester City star shouting obscenities at Germany’s Sydney Lohmann has gone viral and is likely to down in history.

After giving away a foul, Scott felt aggrieved and clearly felt the decision should have gone the other way.

Lohmann then appears to mutter something to the England star but it’s fair to say that Scott didn’t take too kindly to whatever was said.

Jumping up from the ground, Scott responded by saying: “F**k off, you f***ing p**ck,” before the referee intervened and separated the two players.

After the clip surfaced online, fans were quick to comment on Scott’s actions.

One said: “Not been watching the football, but very happily been watching a loop of this video of Jill Scott saying ‘f**k off, you f**ing prick!’ Genuinely marvellous.”

Another echoed this sentiment and wrote: “Absolutely beautiful in every way.”

Others were quick to stress how the clip helps quash the stereotype that swearing isn’t ‘ladylike.’

“Is there anything more satisfying than telling someone to ‘F**k off’? Particularly those who say swearing is not ladylike”, said sports journalist Elizabeth Ammon.
