Liverpool: James Milner mimicked Mo Salah's penalty run up vs Man City

In Liverpool and Manchester City‘s first meeting of the 2022/23 season, it was Jurgen Klopp’s talented side who emerged victorious.

The Reds beat their fierce rivals in the Community Shield by a scoreline of 3-1 and they fully deserved the win.

City were below par by their lofty standards at the King Power Stadium, with summer acquisition Erling Haaland having a bit of a shocker.

Trent Alexander-Arnold put Liverpool in front on 21 minutes, before Pep Guardiola’s team drew level in the 70th minute through Julian Alvarez.
