England training worry for Man City star Kyle Walker with Etihad Stadium to host Euro 2024 matches

Manchester City hero Kyle Walker did not take part in full training with England on Tuesday, but instead underwent individual drills.

The defender arrived at St George's Park fresh from playing 90 minutes in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal. The right-back was involved with a bust-up with an Arsenal coach after full-time but did not appear to be carrying an injury during the game itself.

Meanwhile, the Etihad Stadium is set to host Euro 2028 matches after the UK and Republic of Ireland saw their bid go uncontested. Turkey withdrew their bid to partner with Spain for the 2028 edition of the championships, giving the domestic proposal a clear run.

Kyle Walker underwent an individual training session indoors during his first day with the England squad.

Walker was one of five Manchester City players to be named in Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad for the upcoming international matches. He was joined by John Stones, Kalvin Phillips, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish in arriving at St George's Park earlier this week.

Bukayo Saka pulled out of the squad after missing Sunday's game against City, but while the other 24 players were out on the grass on Tuesday, Walker remained indoors. It is unclear why the 33-year-old was not involved with the group.
