Emmerdale dead character returns to haunt Moira as barn explosion confirmed

An Emmerdale character, previously thought to be dead, is set to "return" and cause a fright for one of the villagers, potentially leading to deadly consequences.

As avid viewers of the ITV soap will know, a significant barn fire is on the horizon in the ITV soap. Moira has been behaving out of character, causing tension between her and partner Cain. This leads her to attempt a moment of affection with Nate.

Nate is taken aback, but Moira can't pinpoint the issue. Caleb, however, has witnessed the whole scene from a slightly different perspective.

Cain is shocked to hear about Moira's 'kiss' with Nate from Caleb. When Moira downplays the incident, his disbelief only angers her further, causing her to storm off, reports Leeds Live.

Nate is left feeling like a deer caught in headlights when Cain confronts him for an explanation. Upon Cain's angry return, Moira is horrified to discover he's beaten up Nate. As he rages about her indiscretion, a sense of deja vu begins to creep into Moira's thoughts. In shock and stress, she slaps Cain, who then departs.

In an intense Emmerdale plot twist, Moira, played by Natalie J Robb, is seen in a precarious situation as she hallucinates and confuses Ruby, portrayed by Beth Cordingly, with her old adversary Emma Barton. The tension escalates when Moira, under stress, accidentally spills tractor fuel and fires a shotgun, causing a spark that puts both characters in grave danger.

The drama unfolds as Ruby enters the barn to taunt Moira, who is unresponsive. As Moira's stress mounts, she mistakes Ruby for Emma, leading to a terrifying confrontation where a warning shot is fired, igniting a potentially deadly blaze.
