Emmerdale fans outraged as they're 'forced to say goodbye' to more characters

Fans of ITV's Emmerdale have had to bid farewell to several beloved characters this year.

Following the demise of teenage twin Heath Hope in late 2023, the new year has seen a host of other characters leaving the Dales. Sam Hall, who portrayed Samson Dingle for 15 years, exited his role after his character became a father with Amelia Spencer.

Emile posted a heartfelt tribute to his time on the soap on Instagram, stating: "After three years, Ethan's journey on Emmerdale has come to an end!

"I feel extremely privileged to have entered this industry working on such an iconic show. I honestly had the time of my life! Sharing the space with such talented folk on and off screen for the last few years has been a huge honour and an experience that'll stay with me always.

"Huge thank you to those of you who have been invested in any of my storylines throughout my time on the show, seeing your reactions and opening important conversations have made it all the more worth it!"

Best known for their roles as Nicky Miligan and Suni Sharma, actors Lewis Cope and Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana announced their departure from the soap simultaneously. The twosome
