Elden Ring: Where to find every Stonesword Key
Elden Ring has a number of blocked off areas in the Lands Between and you’ll need to find a Stonesword Key to be able to activate them.
The game has several gates, that are blocked off by imp fog gates, and you’ll encounter a number of Stonesword Keys throughout the world.
They’re necessary, because some of the blocked off areas may contain bosses, or hidden items, that can help to upgrade your character.
Once you get a key and locate an imp statue, you’ll have to feed the imp the key, and it’ll then disappear from your inventory.
As a result, you can’t use one key multiple times, so you’ll need to find them out in the world.

There are imp statues all over the world, and they even appear in places like Stormveil Castle.
You can equip a Key immediately by selecting it as your Keepsake during character creation but that really isn’t recommended; you can boost your health instead and that’s a smarter option, with thanks to Push Square’s comprehensive guide.
A Key is sold by the Nomadic Merchant near the Castle Morne Rampart. It’ll cost you 2,000 runes.
Three Keys are sold by the Isolated Merchant at his shack for 2,000 runes each.
Go across the Bridge of Sacrifice, which is well-guarded, and there’s a lootable corpse behind the ballista with a Key.
On the edge of the cliff east of the Bridge of Sacrifice is a seated corpse. You can loot it for a Key.
One Key is sold by Patches in Murkwater Cave for 5,000 runes.
A Key is hidden inside the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave. You can get to it by dropping down the corner of the narrow bridge. Keep dropping down, ascend the elevator,
