Elden Ring: Glitch gives player cheesy win over one of the hardest optional bosses

Elden Ring has several amazingly difficult enemies to face throughout the Lands Between and one of the most irritating for you to come across is the Runebear.

The Runebear is a boss in Elden Ring and is found in the Weeping Peninsula, and is an optional boss for you to fight.

He’s a field boss in the Earthbore Cave and is a lot bigger than the usual bears you can find in the world.

The Runebear is a lot bigger than the usual bears you’ll find and also has a huge runic pattern on its chest.

However, as per Gamerant, one player on Reddit got off easy when taking on the bear in the cave.

The Redditor’s name is Soggy-Pouch and they have posted a video of them evasively rolling away from the Runebear’s attacks while casting an incantation.

The animation, though, is cut short as he tries to get away from the boss’ grab animation.

The player takes a bit of damage and then the Runebear simply sinks into the floor. After the animation is over, Soggy-Pouch claims that the boss dies shortly after, with that being one of the cheesiest victories we’ve seen in the game!

There are times when the game glitches out during a mid-animation collision, and there have been documented cases of players dying for the same reason.

Elden Ring has been consistently patched by From Software and this isn’t likely to be a constant issue throughout the game, as the more these issues are documented, the more likely From Soft are to see them and sort them out.

The Runebear is usually a very difficult enemy to overcome, as his large, swiping attacks, can deal huge damage, so don’t expect this to be the way for you to get past him.
