Elden Ring: How to beat the Godskin Duo

Elden Ring has several optional bosses but also a huge number of bosses that you need to fight in order to progress the story, including the Godskin Duo, but how do you beat them?

This is one of the toughest boss fights in the game, and that’s really saying something, as there are so many hugely tough foes for you to battle throughout your journey across the Lands Between.

You can find them in Crumbling Farum Azula and killing them both unlocks the Godskin Duo trophy.

There isn’t an option to skip the fight if you want to complete the game, but you can go away and level up before you take this pair of enemies on.

And trust us, you’ll want to do just that, as these are two of the most levelled opponents you’re going to face.

We’d recommend being a level 90, at least, but you’ll get some immense rewards if you do manage to put them down.

There will be 170,000 Runes on offer, along with a Smithing-Stone – the Miner’s Bell Bearing – and also a new Ash of War, the Black Flame Tornado.

So this battle combines two earlier fights, but combined into one, and with one giant health bar. Yeah, this one is rough.

You’ll need to fight the Godskin Noble and the Godskin Apostle at the same time.

If you put one down, the other can revive them, so you’ll essentially need to kill both bosses twice.

As we said, this isn’t easy!

Both bosses have the same attack patterns from your first encounters with them but they’re doing it at the same time, which makes things infinitely harder.

Absolutely grab the Mimic Tear Ashes from Nokron, Eternal City, and upgrade it as much as you can. A +10 Mimic Tear Ash will absolutely give you the best chance to beat these two horrendous bosses.

When you get into the fight, immediately use the Mimic Tear Ashes
