Ebbsfleet United manager Josh Wright vows to turn disappointment of dropped points against Hemel Hempstead into motivating tactic

Manager Josh Wright has urged his Ebbsfleet players to turn late heartache to their advantage.

Sloppy defending in the last six minutes saw the Fleet let a comfortable 2-0 slip in a home draw with fellow promotion hopefuls Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday night.

It denied them the chance to move into the top five in National League South but Wright knows they can’t dwell on it.

“We’ve got a great opportunity to back this up with more points, and that’ll be the aim.

“Salisbury is going to be tough. They’re a good side, they’ve got a way of playing and we’ll have to be at our best to get a result there.

“It’ll be a difficult pitch so we’ll have to regroup and be ready for that one.”
