Ebbsfleet United assistant manager David Kerslake says club have enough personnel to navigate busy schedule of two games a week until end of February
The games are coming thick and fast for Ebbsfleet now - and that’s just the way they like it.
The Fleet are due to play twice a week through to the end of February and assistant manager David Kerslake believes their squad will come to the fore.
With 24 players at their disposal, Ebbsfleet have plenty of options should they be required with 12 National League South matches before the end of February.
“I think it’s Saturday-Tuesday through February so all the players are going to be needed,” said Kerslake.
“Some are going to be injured, some are going to be suspended, some are going to be rested and some are going to maybe drop out of form.
“We’re going to need everybody. If you’re going to do anything, it’s your squad that gets you there.
“If we’re looking for promotion, it’s going to be the squad, not the team.
“We feel that we have a strong squad. There will be rotation along with the other things I said, like suspensions. One or two might drop a bit of form, but we’ve got good enough players to step in.
“The best thing is there’a a real togetherness and a real team spirit, and that takes you a long way.
“It’s obvious that we’ll take every game as it comes, but every game we’ll go out to win. Every game will be different.
“There are different types of sides, they have strengths and weaknesses, but we work hard on the training pitch, we work hard, we go out to games, we watch teams play, we watch the videos, and the manager puts the game plan together.
“While we’re in this decent run, certainly in the league, there’s enough confidence in the team that we can go anywhere. We know at home that we’re a real handful, but we can go anywhere now and get a result.”
