Dundee put on blast over Rangers pitch farce as Hotline diehard thinks he's cracked it with the 'perfect' solution

The Dundee pitch fiasco was the talk of the town as a Wednesday Hotline was ringing off the hook.

The Dens Park pitch passed an 11am pitch inspection ahead of their rearranged showdown with Rangers. But heavy rain is expected in Tayside and, with a further inspection pencilled in for 3.30pm, it's remains in serious doubt whether the game will be playable by kick-off time.

However, if they cannot produce a pitch playable in Scottish conditions they quite simply do not belong in the Premiership.
