Dundee bus TOWED after Celtic annihilation as misery rumbles on with travel chaos

It wasn't Dundee's night as they were thumped by Celtic - and their journey back up the A9 will only have made things worse after their bus BROKE DOWN en route.

It was a miserable night for Tony Docherty's men as Cameron Carter-Vickers, Adam Idah, Matt O'Riley, Daizen Maeda, Greg Taylor, Callum McGregor and Daniel Kelly got on the scoresheet for the Scottish Premiership title contenders. Finlay Robertson saw red for Dundee before Michael Mellon grabbed a late consolation during a rain-soaked night in Glasgow's east end - but there is little doubt that the Dundee players were desperate to get home after the rout.

But that wouldn't be the case with images circulating of the team bus broken down as it looked to journey back to the City of Discovery on London Road - not far from where delighted Celtic fans were still trudging through the wet weather and celebrating.

It was claimed on social media that the bus broke down on its way to Parkhead and the Celtic team bus had to rescue them. One fan posted to X: "And to make matters worse for Dundee their bus is getting towed." Another joked: "They certainly didn't come to park the bus tonight."
