Dundalk striker Cami Elliott makes East Kilbride return

Striker Cami Elliott has sealed a return to East Kilbride to help the club's push for that elusive promotion to the SPFL this season.

The 25-year-old moved to Dundalk in January 2023 to pursue full-time football and has spent the past 18 months in the League of Ireland, making 17 appearances and providing one assist in the Premier Division last term.

In the half-season before sealing his move to Dundalk, Elliott scored 15 goals in 21 appearances in the Lowland League and Kilby will be hoping he can find that kind of prolific form again.

He could make his first outing under boss Mick Kennedy on Saturday when champions East Kilbride kick-off their Lowland League campaign at home to Civil Service Strollers, where Kilby will be looking to put the heartbreak of May's pyramid play-off final defeat to Elliott's former club, Stranraer, behind them.

Announcing Elliott's signing, a club statement read: "East Kilbride FC are delighted to welcome back Cameron Elliott after a spell at League Of Ireland Premier Division outfit, Dundalk. The 25-year-old forward rejoins Kilby subject to international clearance. Welcome Home, Cami."
