Driver arrested after woman, 66, 'knocked off motorbike' and seriously injured
A woman was seriously injured after reports she was 'knocked off her motorbike by a car', police have revealed.
The 66-year-old, who hasn't been named, was airlifted to hospital by air ambulance from a moorland road in Saddleworth, Oldham.
It's understood she remained in hospital on Saturday. Greater Manchester Police said she suffered 'serious injuries' in the incident at around 3pm on Friday.

Emergency services were called to Huddersfield Road in Denshaw, and police were alerted by the North West Ambulance Service, said a GMP spokesman.
The driver of the car involved, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury whilst driving without due care and attention. He's since been released on bail.
Police said investigations were continuing.
The A640 Huddersfield Road was closed in both directions for police accident investigation work after the incident. The closure was in force between A672 the Ripponden Road at Denshaw crossroads and Dowry Reservoir before the road was reopened later on Friday night.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "Greater Manchester Police received a call from North West Ambulance Service that a female was knocked off her motorbike by a car at around 2.24pm yesterday (Friday 4 August 2023) on Huddersfield Road in Denshaw.
"The rider, a 66-year-old woman, was airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries.
"The driver of the car, a 32-year-old man, was arrested for causing serious injury whilst driving without due care. He has since been released on bail.
"Anyone with any information about this incident, or any dashcam/CCTV footage from the area at the time,
