Dorin Goian in shock Rangers betting claim as former star states £30 wagers were made inside club's dressing room

Former Rangers defender Dorin Goian has claimed he made bets inside the club's dressing room during his time at Ibrox.

The former Romania international has opened up on the practice during his time in Glasgow but stopped short of specifying which which sport the wagers were placed on. But Goian insists the bets were merely a form of fun for players within the first team squad, The defender signed at Ibrox back in 2011 but spent his second season away from Ibrox on loan at Spezia after playing in the first game in the lower reaches in the Challenge Cup win over Brechin City.

The claim comes in the wake of the betting scandal that has rocket Italian football. "At Rangers they bet. I had two colleagues who used to put the odds for the day's games on the board in the dressing room.
