Diogo Dalot on holiday with former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot has been pictured enjoying a well-earned break with former Reds teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dalot and the rest of his United teammates are currently away on holiday enjoying quality time with their friends and families ahead of the start of pre-season training next month. As reported by the Manchester Evening News last week, United are poised to welcome players back to their Carrington training base in two separate groups.

Pre-season for their non-international contingent is due to start in early-July, whereas those who participated in European Championship qualifiers and other international fixtures earlier this month are expected back at Carrington from July 10. United are scheduled to play their first pre-season friendly on July 12 against Leeds United in Oslo, Norway.

Dalot was just one of several members of United's squad to feature on the international stage earlier this month, featuring in one of their two European Championship qualifiers. He started last Tuesday's 1-0 win over Iceland after being left on the bench against Bosnia and Herzegovina three days earlier.

Ronaldo hogged the headlines against Iceland, netting a late winner on his 200th appearance for Portugal. The former United striker became the first men's player to achieve 200 international caps.

Taking to Instagram, Ronaldo has shared three images of himself with family and friends onboard a boat, one of which shows Dalot in attendance.

Positing two words to accompany the three photographs, Ronaldo said: "Vacation mood."
