Dinamo Zagreb 0 Celtic 0 LIVE as Brendan Rodgers mixes it up in bid to make more history
Only five games have been played yet Celtic already stand on the brink of joining the elite of the elite.
Tonight, Brendan Rodgers’ side will all but guarantee themselves a Champions League playoff place with a win against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. If they do reach the knockout stages of UEFA’s biggest competition it will be the first time since 2012.
Oh, and let’s talk about Dinamo – the old Croatia Zagreb whom Celtic faced around 20 years ago and which included a certain Marko Viduka as he was then. They’ve not been enjoying the best time of it domestically but beware the wounded animal.
Anyway, that was then and this is now and Rodgers will be feeling confident more history can be made. To do so they’ll need to win away from home for the first time since 2017 in Anderlecht. Just as well the Irishman was the manager then, too.

We feel it's a game we are going to have a lot of the ball. Paulo is a bit more used to our system when we have a lot of the ball. It is going to be an important night for players coming on, but that was the only change we felt we needed.
