Celtic take to the road and the 80 miles to Dundee looking to restore their 11-point advantage at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

Rivals Rangers, who the Hoops defeated in a breathless Premier Sports Cup final last weekend, cut the gap with a narrow win over Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday.

Now the Hoops take on the Tangerine half of the city of Discovery in what is a first for Celtic gaffer Brendan Rodgers, who has never faced Dundee United in his two stints as Parkhead boss.

Jim Goodwin's men have a big incentive to pick up all three points themselves as a victory against all the odds would see them leapfrog Motherwell and move into fourth place in the league table.
