Dean Henderson, Lucas Paqueta, Christian Eriksen and more Newcastle United summer transfer odds

As the first summer transfer window nears since Newcastle United were taken over, many are expecting a spending spree. The reality looks set to be quite different but there will still be investment in the squad at St James’ Park.

Similarly to the January window, it seems that every player across Europe is being linked with a Tyneside switch ranging from Champions League superstars to members of recently-relegated Premier League sides. Some departures are also expected as Eddie Howe and co look to make room in the squad for potential arrivals.

Unsurprisingly, the bookmakers are offering odds on a number of players to make the move to the North-east. We have compiled a round up of each of those players and have split them into two different sections.

Starting with the more realistic options for United, a number of the linked players are already playing in the Premier League. Based on his recruitment in January, it seems Howe is keen to bring proven players to Newcastle to kickstart the project under the new ownership group.

It remains to be seen whether that will continue this summer but here are the players whose potential arrivals might be classified as more realistic, starting with one that the bookmakers seem to think is all-but done:

· Dean Henderson – 1/20

· Lucas Paqueta – 4/9

· Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 11/8

· Jesse Lingard – 11/4

· Christian Eriksen – 11/4

· Harry Winks – 7/2

· Jack Harrison – 4/1

· Ivan Toney – 4/1

· Maxwel Cornet – 9/4

· Darwin Nunez – 7/1

· James Ward-Prowse – 7/1

· Alexandre Lacazette – 7/1

· Eden Hazard – 7/1

· James Tarkowski – 8/1

· Richarlison

· Marcel Sabitzer – 9/1
