David Turnbull in AC Milan transfer chance as agent claims Celtic star has 'vast options' in Croatian legend comparison
An agent has claimed that AC Milan are one of a number of clubs who are vying to sign David Turnbull this summer, with his Celtic future unclear.
The midfielder has divided opinion within the Hoops fanbase but has still contributed to seven goals from 14 games. Signed from Motherwell in 2020 after a serious knee injury, Turnbull's deal is due to expire next summer and he will be available to speak with other clubs in January if no new deal is in place. And claims from Italy have suggested that AC Milan are amongst a major list of clubs looking at the Scotland midfielder.
Lewis Ferguson, Aaron Hickey and Josh Doig are amongst the Scots to have set Italy's top flight alight in recent seasons. Intermediary and talent scout Michele Fratini claims the Celtic midfielder's profile is attractive to many, telling Pianet Milan: "This player - who yesterday played part of the match in Lazio-Celtic in the Champions League - plays as a central midfielder and is reminiscent of former Inter player Ivan Perisic in his movements .
