David Martindale tells fans 'don't watch Sportscene' as bore Livingston clash won't get more than a MINUTE of coverage

David Martindale has told fans not to bother watching his side's game on Sportscene.

And that's because he reckons his Lions won't get any more than around a minute's worth of highlights as they fell to a bore 1-1 draw with Ross County in Dingwall. The first half ended goalless before Simon Murray put Malky Mackay's men in the driving seat with both sides looking to gain valuable points despite both being unbeaten in their previous two games before the clash in the Highlands. Bruce Anderson then hit back with a customary Livingston goal to level the game and the points were shared.

But a blown-out Martindale reckons it wasn't one to remember for fans of either side and that it's probably not even worth tuning in to BBC Scotland's popular highlight show for. He told Livi TV: "Don't watch Sportscene, or give yourself a minute because that's not getting any longer than sixty seconds. It was not a lot of quality of the game, let's be honest. I knew the game would be very direct before we came up here.

"The game became a wee bit scrappy, two formations that nullified each other. That really was the game, we never had any supplied lines up to Brucey and Joel, they don't have a lot to get on the end of today."
