Strictly Come Dancing's Adam Thomas crypitcally mentions 'obstacles' as he tells fans he's 'all over the place'
Adam Thomas has cryptically referenced 'obstacles' after he was seen close to tears in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom over the weekend. The Waterloo Road star and dance partner Luba Mushtuk took to the ballroom floor to perform a dramatic Tango to the song Somebody Told Me which is by the The Killers but opted for the Maneskin version.
The couple earned 23 points and received some positive feedback from the judges, including Motsi Mabuse who said the former Emmerdale star had been "more engaged" this week. However, Adam couldn't help but hold back tears as he received his comments before going on to speak to Claudia Winkleman backstage following the performance.
The Manchester-born actor, who plays Donte Charles in BBC One school drama Waterloo Road, did manage to build himself back up with the help of Luba but was left crying again when he discovered that he'll be doing a jive to 'Take on Me' from the Super Mario Bros Movie for the dance show's annual movie week.

After a day of filming on Waterloo Road, Adam was reunited with Luba in the training studio and during a quick moment on his own, he spoke directly to his Instagram followers as he said in a video: "I was in work together and I was like, 'Luba, can you send me the dance of what were going to be doing on Saturday?'"
He then admitted: "She sent it to me and I cried! Baring in mind, I've only got a day to learn it because I'm working all week." Adam then concluded his video: "And everyone's like, 'Just enjoy the process Adam! Enjoy it!'" before bursting into laughter.
