Coventry City reveal squad numbers for 2022-23 season
Coventry City have confirmed their squad numbers for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
The Sky Blues are gearing up for the new Championship campaign, which start away to Sunderland on Sunday, July 31 (midday kick-off). Mark Robins' men continue their pre-season preparations this weekend, with a friendly fixture at Portsmouth on Saturday (July 23, 3pm).
There have been some new additions to the squad during the summer transfer window so far. Jonathan Panzo has been allocated the number two shirt following his loan move from Nottingham Forest. Fellow defender Callum Doyle, on loan from Manchester City, will wear the number three shirt.
Elsewhere, Coventry revealed that midfielder Kasey Palmer has chosen number 45 after arriving from Bristol City on a permanent deal - the highest number listed among the senior squad.
Callum O'Hare retains the number 10 jersey after his potential move to Burnley broke down. And intriguingly, numbers seven and 11 are kept vacant for now (along with a few others), having been previously taken by Jodi Jones and Bright Enobakhare, who have both now left the club.
