Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank shares sweet moment viewers didn't see as fans gush

Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has shared a sweet moment viewers wouldn't have seen when he sat in the audience at the National Television Awards. The actor was among the stars of the ITV soap who headed down south to attend the star-studded event at London's O2.

Dan, who plays Billy Mayhew in Corrie, cut a stylish figure at the ceremony as he sported a navy blue suit jacket and trousers which he paired with a white shirt and black bow tie. He appeared in photos shared to his Instagram page alongside Peter Ash, who plays on-screen partner Paul Foreman, who looked just as dapper in a checkered suit jacket which he paired with some smart black trousers.

They were also joined for the 'family' snap by Amy Barlow actress Elle Mulvaney. Dan also shared a selfie of himself, Peter and Shona Platt star Julia Goulding beaming for the camera as they took their seats in the arena.

But days after the biggest night in the TV calendar took place, Dan has returned to Instagram with a new snap showing a lovely moment that happened while he was seated in the arena in between the live awards being shown on ITV.

The image showed Dan giving a wide grin towards one of his co-stars who was snapping her FaceTiming his new partner. It's been a few weeks since the Billy Mayhew actor went 'Instagram official' with his new man. The actor shared his first photo on social media alongside his boyfriend Jordan Coulthard at the end of July

And in the new image, Jordan, who is reportedly a police officer and musician, could be seen on Dan's phone as his partner caught him up with all the goings on behind the scenes at the glitzy awards bash.
