Coronation Street has teased the fallout from Stephen Reid's exit after fans were told he'll leave 'devastation' in his wake. Super Soap Week will officially see the end of the broke businessman-turned-serial killer just over a year after he made a sudden return to Weatherfield.

Stephen had appeared to arrive in the nick of time as Audrey found herself in trouble, having got stuck underneath a model scooter in the barbers after her drinking got a bit out of hand - despite her family's attempts at an intervention. However, it didn't take long for viewers to see that the reason for his return wasn't at all innocent as with his finances in a dire state, he planned to fleece his own mother.

While he did get away with stealing some money via the equity on his mother's home, but has since been caught out by niece Sarah Barlow, his plotting and scheming to come back on top as a businessman hasn't stopped and he's turned to bumping off those standing in his way - namely Leo and Teddy Thompkins and Rufus Donahue.
