Coronation Street's Ryan Connor in collapse horror amid hidden steroid addiction

Ryan Connor will suffer a collapse in Coronation Street next week as his secret steroid addiction continues. The DJ has, understandably, been struggling since he was doused in acid in a horror attack by Daisy Midgeley's stalker.

Ryan stepped in the path of the Rover Return barmaid as she was confronted by Justin Rutherford in the pub on her wedding day following weeks of harassment. In the shock attack, Ryan was left with life-changing scars and has since found it difficult to accept how he looks.

But following his return from Ireland where he visited his mum, Michelle, Ryan appeared in better spirits and spoke to Carla and Peter about his new fitness regime, ordering and setting up equipment in his room at their flat. However, they are none the wiser that Ryan has been injecting himself with steroids.

And his obsession has only continued after Carla accidentally posted a snap of her nephew's tone torso online which quickly gained attraction, giving Ryan, after his initial upset, the idea of setting up his own fitness influencer account to document his progress.

Next week's Corrie spoilers reveal that Ryan will be seen pulling out a box of steroids from under his bed, but despairs when he discovers the vials have leaked.

Meanwhile, pointing out that he barely leaves his bedroom these days, Carla urges him to go out and meet Alya for lunch. While he took her advice and headed out to see his former girlfriend, Alya later confides in Carla that Ryan seemed restless and preoccupied over their meal.
