Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien shares how she 'cried' a lot during recent filming stint as she teases 'more to come'

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has teased there's 'more to come' for Sarah Barlow as she shares how she recently 'cried' a lot while filming. The ITV soap character has faced a lot of heartbreak in recent weeks after her affair with Damon Hay was exposed.

Sarah Barlow slept with Damon behind Adam Barlow's back after giving in to her lust for Weatherfield's newest bad boy amid her husband's busy work schedule. But things went from bad to worse when Sarah's actions were exposed, before finding out she was expecting another child.

A paternity test later and it was revealed that Damon was the dad, however, Sarah's uncle Stephen Reid intercepted the second results letter, after already fishing the first torn-up one out of the bin, and doctored it before it reached Adam's hands. And Sarah made the mistake of going along with Adam believing the unborn baby to be his before he discovered the truth.

In a cruel twist, after Adam organised a surprise gender reveal for his wife, as Sarah opened the balloon box to find out if it was a boy or a girl, a white balloon floated up emblazoned with the words "It's Damon's." Following the move, Adam left the couple's home and stayed the night on Peter Barlow and Carla Connor's sofa before Sarah attempted to speak to her husband.

But she didn't appear well and was doubled over in pain. While he thought she was faking her pain, it was Maria Windass who informed him she was on her way to the hospital and he went after her. He then discovered that Sarah had been told the heartbroken news that she'd miscarried her unborn child, who she later found out was a baby girl who she'd hoped to call Sadie.
